Confession!!!!

I have to confess something.... My last post about my little niece, I am not really holding her. My brother lives in Ohio going to Dental School and we did not venture out there to see her. What I did was cut her out of a picture and placed her in a picture that looked like I has holding something. I just had to do it to see what it would look like if I was holding her. Anyway... here are a few more pictures of our new sweet baby Whitney.

This is her week old picture

This past week we went to Grand Cayman to see Colby's Parents. His dad was down there working so we took advantage of the fact that we had somewhere to stay. We also went down with Colby's sister Megan and her husband Shane and their cute little boy Jack.

Personal Progress

Young Women Personal Progress

I have a stake meeting this week and I am suppose to bring some personal progress ideas for activities. They are really wanting to stress service and helping others this next year. If any of you out there have any great ideas that could help, let me know.

Echo Triathlon

Almost a year ago my work challenged us to 3 triathlons in the year 2008. (this year) There was quite a few of us that said that we would do it, a year ago. As the time got closer a few kept dropping out. I remained as I originally said that I would. They told us that they would sponsor us and anyone in our family that would like to do it as well.

So about a month ago was our first triathlon. Because the baby that I am Colby said that he would stayed with me the whole time.
After all of the pain and tiredness I sat and thought if it really was worth doing it? Even though it was hard and I probably should have training a little more, I think that I will after all do another one.

IT DEFIANTLY WAS WORTH THE CHALLENGE
This was us after the race. I was dead tired and Colby was ready to go do another one.

This was me getting out of the water. I still have my sexy wet suit on.

This was me getting back to the transition area to go run. At this point Colby had left me because he had to go to the bathroom.

This is us almost to the finish line. Notice how hot our outfit's are, and how tired I look.
(it makes me laugh ever time see Colby in that outfit)

This was us one day later alive and a little sore.

Rodeo

Ogden City Rodeo

Every year we usually go to a rodeo for the 24th of July. This is the first year that we have been to the Ogden City Rodeo. (I tell you what, that was an experience to go to Ogden all by itself) We went to that one because they were donating 1 dollar for every person that was wearing pink to breast cancer research.

We normally like to fit in so we wear some cowboy garb. Colby borrowed some wranglers and a cowboy hat from our neighbor and I was just not feeling it this year. But I did wear a pink shirt to help with breast cancer research.

(the best part about his outfit is his stand-alone mustache)

This picture is a little fuzzy but it is the only picture we got together.
