The View

Back in April I went to New York for the first time. Even though it was for work we still had time to play. On the 3rd day our boss let us go see if we get into a live TV show on stand- by. The View was the only show that was going to be on at the time that we could go. So we finally get in and not only that, we walk in and one of the producers or someone that helps run the show gave my co-worker and I a ticket with an "M" on it. They said when we call the people with the tickets with "M's" you need to come up first. So they call us we go up there and we get front row seats on the bleachers. (you can kind of see were from the picture) So we sit down and they come up to my co-worker and say, "you are going to be doing our mid morning brake, are you ok with that". She hesitates and says, "can you explain exactly what that is". So they explain and she agrees. It is where in the middle of the show they pull someone from the audience to say we will be right back after these messages blah blah blah blah........ So there you go, WE or SHE was famous for a day.

We didn't have a camera so we took these pictures with her iphone.
(This is one of those times you wish you had your camera)

Me after the show waiting to leave the studio. They have some strict rules.

Me and Eliza (my co-worker).
(Now I can say that I know someone famous)

Alaska!!!!

The Lewis Family Vacation !!!!
This past month we went to Alaska to catch the beautiful fish of the sea, with Colby's whole family. This is the whole clan all together looking pretty.

This is me and my first fish that I have ever caught. It sure was pretty and it taste good too.

We of course had to get our golfing in while we were out of town.

Colby, Ginny, and Wally caught these big Halibut right off the dock of the place that we were staying at. They were so proud and excited.

This is the Halibut that I caught when I went on the ALL GIRL charter.
(Colby's Dad send all of the girls Colby's 4 sisters, mom and me with the charter dude)
I thought he was going to have a heart attach when he say that he was going to be with 6 girls for an all day fishing trip.
It was a lot of fun. Those girls sure are a good time!!!!

This is the plane that we took to go to our lodge. I was so cool, I have never been on a plane that small and that floats on water.

We were so good at fishing we even caught a starfish.
(we caught that while we were bottom fishing for Halibut)

We all had our own songs to sing to bring the fish into the boat, but Colby thought that it would be fun if the fish sang to us for once.

Last but not least, we filmed an eagle coming down 3 feet from our boat to get some food.
(by the way those were my mad filming skills)
