These are just a few random pictures for those family members that are out of town that don't get to see Samantha very often.

Colby and Samantha love to watch TV together. This picture was taken after a long night, so they are both very tired. She wasn't feeling very good all night long.

She is getting so big. This is her at seven weeks old.

Grandma Paxton with her two newest grandkids.
Jake loves to suck on his two fingers. It is so cute but my sister hates it.

Jake and Samantha at their first Utah VS BYU football game party. They are having fun no matter the out come of the game. Jake is my sister Anna's little boy. These two are only 2 months apart. Jake is 4 months old and Samantha is now 2 months old. They are going to be the best of friends.

Halloween

This years Halloween party at Colby's sisters house was Villeins and Heroes.
I was Curella DeVil and Colby was Mr. Incredible.

We didn't do that great on our costumes this year. We have been a little occupied with something else.

Random Pictures

These first few pictures I had to put on because these little hats that Samantha has on are so cute. My sister-in-law Karina made them for her.

Neapolitan ice cream with cherries on top.

Pumpkin

This is her Halloween costume because we couldn't find anything small enough for her.

Had to put this picture on to show how she is taking after her grandpa Paxton with the hairline.

Last but not least I had to put one picture of her with....pretty much the only bow she has.

Just a side note....looking at all of these different pictures you wouldn't ever think that it was the same baby.

Blessing Dress

My talented sister-in-law offered to take Samantha's picture in her blessing dress.
This one is my very favorite picture that she took.
I have been trying to upload the other ones that she took but it is not working.

Sammy's Best Friend

When we got home from the hospital, Sammy had a friend waiting for her named Fonda Lona.
This Cabbage Patch doll was waiting for her in her crib with birth certificate and all. She didn't want to come empty handed so she brought us some treats as well as a little note.

Fonda waiting for us to come home from the hospital.

This is Fonda's birth certificate. As you can tell she was only born a few days before Sammy. I have a feeling they are going to be the best of friends.

This is the note that she brought with her. She wrote....
"Dear Sammy, My name is Fonda Lona and I hope you like company and me. Maybe we could have some Tootsie Pops together to bond our friendship. Your Mom and Dad may want to eat too so I got them a red card. Love, Fonda P.S. Go to the bathroom in the toilet. "

Look how happy Sammy is to have a friend that is just her size.

Going home from the Hospital

Samantha already to go home from the Hospital

It was a cold day when we went home, so we put her in her warm winter suit.
(it didn't really fit her but it sure kept her nice and warm)

Stephanie just before we left to go to the hospital.

Stephanie getting dressed in her gown.

Getting things started.

Stephanie after being in labor for 12 hours.

The clan that worked hard to get little Samantha here!!

Our sweet baby!

Mommy loves Samantha!!!!

More to come when we go home from the hospital.

By the way---she was born on 9/29/09 at 9:09 am....Pretty crazy!!!

Monday September 28 Stephanie was received into the Hospital at 9 pm to be induced into labor. At 10 pm she was started on a petosin drip to induce contractions. Around 1 am the contractions became too painful and Stephanie asked for the epidural. The anesthesiologist was an odd fellow but did a great job. After the epidural, we both fell asleep, only being bothered by the requisite hourly nurse visits. Around 7 am, we got up because the nurse said that the doctor was coming in. After his brief exam, he informed us that Stephanie was fully dilated and that it was time to have a baby.
Stephanie pushed for about an hour and a half and was totally exhausted. The doctor asked if she wanted any help and she said yes. The doctor brought out the forceps and together with Stephanies pushing the baby was out in a few minutes. She weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. She has light brown hair and is super cute. I will post many pictures of her.

SORRY! :(

I have been trying to post pictures on our blog for weeks now. I know that it has been quite a while since you have seen anything from me, and I am sorry. I will try and give you a quick update of what is happen here at the Lewis household.
I have about 3 more weeks before we add to our family. Which is so exciting. SHE is continuing to grow which is good, but bad for me. I am really starting to look like the Michelin Marshmallow man. She doesn't have a name yet, so if you have any good suggestions send them our way. Our nursery is all put together. Hooray!!! Car seat was delivered yesterday. Cutting it close. Bag is not yet packed. I figure I still have some time.
Colby has a job!!!!! Another HIP HIP HOORAY for that!!!
Well that pretty much sums up our life at the moment. Hopefully I can get our computer to upload pictures by the time we have our baby.
REMEMBER WE NEED NAMES!! HELP....

24 Weeks

Here a few pictures of my "baby bump" at 24 weeks. I think the bumble-bee shirt makes it hard to really get a feel of how big it is. I will post some more pictures of "the bump" later when I look a little better. That is enough scaring y'all for the day.

May so far..

This month has been a busy month with trips, birthdays, graduation and the excitement of having a baby girl. Beware of the following there maybe a lot of photos. I will start at the beginning of the month.

BABY

First like you all have already found out we are having a girl and we couldn't be happier. We are not sure of the name for her yet but I am sure we will have something soon enough.

CRUISE

Second we took one last big trip before we have the baby, because it is going to be while before we can do this again. We went on a 7 day cruise to the Western Caribbean with some of our friends. We had 4 different stops that we made. First we stopped in Grand Cayman, Honduras, Belize, and Key West. We were suppose to go to Cozumel instead of Key West but because of the whole Swine Flu brake out, they changed it.

The FIRST day on the boat was all about us getting to know where everything was on the boat and what they had to do. They had so many fun things to do on the boat we were all so excited.

Us on the boat as it is taking off out of the Miami Port

Colby getting excited looking at the basketball and volleyball court.

The wonkavators
(as we all were calling them)

Spa Carnival
We went to look at the spa that they had on the boat. When we got there they said that they were in need of a model for a close shave, facial massage and scalp massage. This package on the boat was a 60 min service for $120. Colby got to do it for FREE (except for giving the nice man a tip) Colby thought he was in heaven.

The SECOND day was a day at sea....

We played mini golf, basketball, volleyball, swam and even ran out on the outside track. We also had our first formal dinner night. We had no idea that it was such a BIG deal on cruises.

Volleyball

Me after our run on the track

Waiting to go swimming in the lovely salt water pool

First formal night

Spencer, Colby, Tyler
The Boys

Me, Sarah, Kim
The Girls

And to finish the day off we can back to our room to this......

Mr. Elephant

The THIRD day we stopped in Grand Cayman...

We did sting ray city for the 3rd time for me. This time they took us to a different area that I haven't been too before. The different stops on this tour are sting rays city, coral reef, and star fish. It was awesome to see star fish and to be able to dive for them.

Once we got back to our room we were greeted by our little gangster man.

The FOURTH day we stop in Honduras....

We got there and we all hopped in a taxi van that was going to be with us all day long. He took us all around to see the island, and the different souvenir shops. The first thing we did was a canopy zip line, then we went to the beach and spent the rest of the day there.

Dirty city of Honduras

Us waiting to go on the zip line

The gang

They boys and their Aquarium

Spencer and Colby with one of the local boys that was trying to sell jewelry on the beach.

They were trying to catch fish and put them in the Aquarium that they built. They were not very good at catching the fish, as you can see.

Miss piggy came to see us that night

The FIFTH day we stopped in Belize....

We started to run out of money because everyone at the other islands took it all. We were wanting to do the cave tubing tour but we didn't have enough time or money. Colby and I didn't feel like just walking around the city, so we got a taxi and went into the rain forest to see wild moneys.

Colby feeding the monkey a Banana

We got to be really close to them. It was so cool.

A river that Colby and our tour guide took a dip in

Colby, Tour guide, Taxi driver, and Me

After the tour our tour guide told us that his grandma cooks dinner for a school that comes in from the states and they were there eating right when we were getting ready to leave. He asked us if we would like to join them all for dinner.
Now that was an experience that you normal don't get to experience.

Mr. Frogger

The SIXTH day we stopped at Key West....

By this time we had really ran out of money. We went to the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. That is a fun place to go too they had some many different things that people have invented or accomplished. Then we went back to the boat because Colby wasn't feeling very good and we took a nap.

This is a wax model of the worlds tallest man.
To put it into perspective Colby is 6'4" and he looks like a shrimp compared to this guy.
(i don't remember what they said on how tall that guy is)

A hanging monkey

The SEVENTH day was a day at sea....
We just hung out on the boat enjoying each others company.

FRIENDS

When we got back I got to go out to dinner with some of my very best friends that I have had since I was little little, I have grown up with these girls. It was fun to get to see them. We are all married and starting a family of our own. 3 out of the 5 of us are pregnant.

Me (22 weeks), Mallory (22 weeks), Nikki, Angie, and Candice (10 weeks)

BIRTHDAY/GRADUATION

A few days later I planned a SURPRISE party for Colby's Birthday/Graduation. It was a success. For those of you that know me I have a really hard time keeping secrets from him, but this one, I succeeded. I had been playing this thing way before we went on our cruise, so you can imagine it was really hard for me to keep it from him.
We had a really great turn out, we had my family, his family with all of the grandparents included and his friends. We were also lucky enough to have Colby's mom home for a short time to celebrate this exciting time.

Colby opening his presents

Well that is it for now. Next month will be just as crazy. Enjoy!
