Making it public....

I have had so many people ask me when I was going to make our exciting news public. I went to the doctor today, so I am happy to say that we are having a baby.
We got to hear the little heart beat, which was the coolest thing. We can't wait to see a picture of the little guy.
I am about 11 weeks and not feeling so HOT. I have been pretty sick 95% of the time. I am crossing my fingers that it gets better.

I will keep you all updates on the progress of our little bundle of joy!

Update.........

I have been a huge slacker on taking pictures, so......... this post is not going to have a whole lot of them.

CHRISTMAS DAY!!!!!!

Since we don't have any kids it was a nice day of sleeping in and getting up when we felt like it.
We woke up and opened our gifts that we got for each other. Then we went to Colby's parents house and had some breakfast and exchanged gifts. After that we went to visit Colby's Grandpa. When Colby was a little boy it was a tradition that Grandpa would give all the kids a 2 dollar bill, and to this day his is still carrying on that tradition.
It was so fun being able to visit him on Christmas.

We then went up to my parents house to for some dinner and the usual gift exchange. After all of the excitement of Santa and gifts, we changed the mood a little and all of little kids put on the nativity scene. They did such a good job.

(My mom made all the costumes this year. I think she did a great job)

That sums it up for Christmas.

NEW YEARS!!!!

Our new year this year was very no key. We welcomed the new year in by ourselves. We went up to Colby's parents houses in Eden. Then the next morning we woke up and went skiing at Wolf Mountain. It was so much fun, I haven't been skiing in over two years. It was like riding a bike, as soon as I hit the slopes it all came back.

UTAH UTES 13-0!!!!!

Then a couple of days later we went to my oldest brother Aarons house for the University of Utah's bowl game. He had a big party with about 20 or more couples. Having all of those guys in his theater room was so much fun....at times it got pretty rowdy watching the game. It was almost like we were at the actual game the screen was so big and the picture was so clear. I am sure we all know what happened, but I think UTAH 31 - ALABAMA 17 says it all. I didn't get any pictures of the party so I thought that I would find some pictures of some big Utah fans online. The weird thing is, when I was looking, I found a few pictures of my non-Utah fan brother at the game. It sure is weird but maybe we are wearing off on him.
Bart it is good to see that you are cheering for the right team now. HA HA HA.

Since we are on the subject of Utah I have to make a shoot out to Colby's sister Karina. She knitted me the cutest UTAH ski hat.

Thanks Karina I LOVE IT!!!!

One last special event that just recently happened.... our little niece Addy got baptized.

Congratulation Addy. We are so happy for you.

That is all for now..........

A Start To The Christmas Festivites....

Every year my family gets together and decorates gingerbread houses. This is Colby and mine this year. We didn't get any pictures with us by it, so this is as good as it gets. There will be more Christmas festivity pictures to come. (I think that we really liked the snow(marshmallows) this year)

Thanksgiving With Mickey!!!

Colby and I went to Disney World for Thanksgiving. We meet most of Colby's family over there to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday.

This is Cinderella's Castle at night with all of the Christmas lights on it.
It was so magical....

This is us doing the traditional picture taking in front of the castle

They have a awesome light parade the they put on each night.

There is no way that you can afford to buy anything in the souvenir shops so we decided to put them on and take pictures. That the the poor man way of getting souvenirs.

This is us on the ride "It's a Small World After All"

Us at Animal Kingdom in front of their Christmas tree
It was so fun having all of the different parks decorated for Christmas

Our first day being in Florida we went on a air boat ride to see alligators

Last but not least, I had to feature these two cute boys, they really seamed to hit it off on this trip. Jace really seemed to like Colby a lot. He either wanted his Dad or Colby. It was so cute.
This kid has taken the lead in the cutest child in the Lewis family. He is awesome.--Colby
Look at him grabbing my ears. The best!!!

One last thanks to Colby's sister Karina for setting this whole trip up and letting us all stay in her condo. THANK YOU KARINA!!!!
