I have been a huge slacker on taking pictures, so......... this post is not going to have a whole lot of them.
CHRISTMAS DAY!!!!!!
Since we don't have any kids it was a nice day of sleeping in and getting up when we felt like it.
We woke up and opened our gifts that we got for each other. Then we went to Colby's parents house and had some breakfast and exchanged gifts. After that we went to visit Colby's Grandpa. When Colby was a little boy it was a tradition that Grandpa would give all the kids a 2 dollar bill, and to this day his is still carrying on that tradition.
It was so fun being able to visit him on Christmas.
We then went up to my parents house to for some dinner and the usual gift exchange. After all of the excitement of Santa and gifts, we changed the mood a little and all of little kids put on the nativity scene. They did such a good job.
(My mom made all the costumes this year. I think she did a great job)
That sums it up for Christmas.
NEW YEARS!!!!
Our new year this year was very no key. We welcomed the new year in by ourselves. We went up to Colby's parents houses in Eden. Then the next morning we woke up and went skiing at Wolf Mountain. It was so much fun, I haven't been skiing in over two years. It was like riding a bike, as soon as I hit the slopes it all came back.
UTAH UTES 13-0!!!!!
Then a couple of days later we went to my oldest brother Aarons house for the University of Utah's bowl game. He had a big party with about 20 or more couples. Having all of those guys in his theater room was so much fun....at times it got pretty rowdy watching the game. It was almost like we were at the actual game the screen was so big and the picture was so clear. I am sure we all know what happened, but I think UTAH 31 - ALABAMA 17 says it all. I didn't get any pictures of the party so I thought that I would find some pictures of some big Utah fans online. The weird thing is, when I was looking, I found a few pictures of my non-Utah fan brother at the game. It sure is weird but maybe we are wearing off on him.
Bart it is good to see that you are cheering for the right team now. HA HA HA.
Since we are on the subject of Utah I have to make a shoot out to Colby's sister Karina. She knitted me the cutest UTAH ski hat.
Thanks Karina I LOVE IT!!!!
One last special event that just recently happened.... our little niece Addy got baptized.
Congratulation Addy. We are so happy for you.
That is all for now..........

I sure love photo shop even though it doesn't look real.
One last remark from me. Come to find out from talking to Colby it was actually his other Grandpa that would give the 2 dollar bills out. oops...oh well.
i was going to give the $2 correction...because when I read that I thought...ALL THESE YEARS I THOUGHT IT WAS GRANDPA LEWIS. Funny!
Sounds like things are going well in your world. Love the updates, thanks!!!
Yea! The hat looks so cute on you! I'm glad that you like it.
That was a fun post to read with little blurbs about each event in the last little while. Sounds like you had fun and the pictures are really cute. I want a hat like that! :)
So, I didn't know Bart went to that Utah game. I knew he was gone for a while, but I wasn't sure where he went. I'm glad you posted so I can get after him. You are so funny with your photo shop. I love your posts
