Ohio-Alaska

This past week I was here...

and Colby was in Alaska.

Colby's parents, brothers and some of his cousins went to Alaska to do the whole fishing thing, like we did 2 or 3 years ago.  I wasn't so thrilled to stay home for a week by myself so Samantha and I headed off to Columbus, Ohio to visit my brother and sister-in-law.  My brother is in Dental school out there and will be done in a year.  We are so excited for them and can't wait for them to come back home. :)

A few of the places we went were:
Kirtland
Amish Country
Columbus Zoo
Columbus Water Park
Local Library
Park
A Rose Park
Wendy's (Whitney's favorite place to eat)
OSU Dental School
Downtown Columbus
4th of July Parade and Firework Show

We had so much fun and thank Bart, Krista and Whitney for letting us come visit them.

Kirtland Temple

This was at the Zoo.  If you look on the left hand side of the picture you will see Amish people.
I know you're not supposed to take pictures of them but I had to.  Look how cute the little kids are.

This was in Amish country.  We got to ride in one of the buggies.  They were actually quite comfy.

This was at the rose park.  They have a whole park just with roses.  It is really pretty.
While we were at the park we took pictures of the girls in their matching 4th of July dress that Grandma Paxton gave them.

Whitney - she is so adorable.

Sammy loves the grass.  I have to watch her very closely or else she will eat anything and everything around her.

Cousinly love.  These two were the best of friends.  Whitney was so cute with Sabby - has she would call her.

They loved taking baths together.  Whitney is such a good helper.

I could never get a picture with them both looking at me.

This was at the park.

This was the last day just as we were leaving.  I can't figure out if Whitney is sad to see us leave or if she is just tired and wants to take a nap.

While we were out there Sammy mastered crawling and now can get anywhere she wants.

Now that we are home she as mastered pulling herself up and standing next to furniture.

She has grown up so fast just in the past 2 weeks.

Remember this picture.  Well....

This is how I found her yesterday morning.
I guess she wanted to try being a mermaid.

Family Pictures

Here are a few of the pictures we got taken as a family.
I hope you enjoy.

This one is to show you how windy it was.

Now to decide what I want printed.
That is going to be tricky.

Tell me how a 7 month old is able to do this?

I went in to get her out of her crib this morning and found that she managed to get her arm out of her sleeve and then out through the neck of her PJ's.

I have no idea how she did this.  It's quite amazing.
