2 and a half weeks ago we headed off to visit Colby's parents in Australia where his Dad is working.
We started out with...
Flight to Los Angeles - 1.5 hours
then Los Angles to Brisbane Australia - 14 hours
then if that wasn't long enough we went from Brisbane to Darwin Australia - 4 hours
Total flight time - 19.5 hours that is not including layovers
Left on the 11th and got there on the 13th.
(Colby totally got robbed of his birthday this year which was on the 12th)
I think that Sammy thought this baby crocodile was a stuffed animal. She loved touching it.
Loves Papa
They have so many beautiful waterfalls
Florence Falls
Florence Falls - fresh water lagoon that we actually could swim in.
Grandma Honey and Sammy
These are termite mounds
Termite mound field
Sammy and Papa
We got to this lagoon to swim and came upon a sign saying that it was closed.
No swimming
These signs are all over the place. Crocodile warnings.
And this is way we couldn't swim at this lagoon.
Fresh water crocodile
Colby was thirsty
After swimming
Indigenous people out on the street painting a picture.
At the park after church
Shopping.
Loves herself some sunglasses.
In heaven
Feeding the fishes with daddy

Crocodile safari
Sammy, Flat Stanley, and Me
On the Crocodile Safari
Real live Crocodile in the wild jumping for food.
Swimming around looking for something good to eat.
Scary. Now that is why there is no way you can swim in the water in Australia.
Breaking the bones so he can just slurp it right down.
One of the largest crocodile named Sweetheart. He is 20 feet long.
She was not a fan of being in her car seat.
Hot and sweaty
Me and my girl
She is teasing me
Kisses
Getting on an 8 seater airplane to over look the beautiful country of Darwin, Australia.
Cheese.
Sammy getting ready to takeoff.
Colby is ready
I'm ready and excited.
Pam is ready, so here we go.
Amazing.
Dang the video wont upload
(the plane ride was a little loud so you might want to mute it)
After the flight. If you look close, you can see Colby's TWO barf bags.
To say the least he get motion sickness.
Bus tour. Daddy trying to entertain Sammy.
Kakadu National park
Aboriginal rock paintings
Sammy with her new Crocodile
Giant spider. It is kind of hard to see, it is in the middle and part of it's body is yellow.
Tired baby
Another spider. It grosses me out.
At the top of the National Park. Amazing views from the top.
Long day, so tired.
In the middle of our trip to Australia we took a little side trip to Bali, Indonesia.
We thought this was so funny. There taxi sign are spelled so funny.
This is the entrance to basically the disneyland of Bali. It was a very impressive place.
They had some of the most amazing architectural structures everywhere.
Got to pet the elephants while they were taking a bath.
They had camels.
We held a python
Colby's mom
Sammy learned how to dance one of the native dances. Well not really but she had fun moving her hips.
When they dance they wear these really cute little skirts called sarongs.
They do a lot with there hands while they dance. Sammy was so cute trying to get the hands down.
These girls loved Sammy. They took a billion pictures of her.
This lady was CRAZY. She and her family saw Sammy dancing and they can over freaking out taking pictures, talking and about her, and touching her. After they were done dancing this lady came right over and picked Sammy up and her family started taking a bunch of pictures of them together. I was kind of afraid that if any of us turned around, she would start running off with her.
This was just outside of our hotel room. It was so tropical and beautiful.
These are our beds. They had a lot of mosquitoes and they loved me. I didn't want to get eaten alive while I was sleeping.
Colby attempted surfing but there were not a lot of waves.
Sammy got her hair braided. It was so cute.
An hour later her hair didn't have a lot of braids left.
One of their beautiful temples.
You can buy some cool stuff for not a lot of money. This sign says it all.
Colby's Dad
They had anything you could think of.
This is what a lot the streets looked like. They had these mopeds everywhere.
We even saw a family of FIVE on one of them.
One of the locals that we were bartering with.
Sammy loves the beach.
We went to a monkey park. They had monkeys everywhere.
Monkeys cleaning each other.
The sunrise one morning that Sammy decided she wanted to wake up at 5:00 A.M. Colby was nice enough to take her on a walk so I could get some sleep.
Colby's Parents
While we were Bali we got to take a ride on an elephant.
The scenery while we were on the elephants. So amazing.
Another.

Jimmy the elephant, that the three of us rode on.
Fun restaurant that we ate at the last night in Bali.
Sammy decided she wanted to play in the sand just before we were to get on the airplane. She was a mess, had sand everywhere. We had to clean her off in the airport bathroom.
Colby shade bathing
Us that the wave pool. They had such a fun kids play pool.
Stupid movie wont upload so here is a picture
The last night that we were in Australia Colby and I were out taking a walk and this guy was outside playing the didgeridoo, trying to make some money. It was really cool.
