Kimball David Lewis 8/27/12

I have been procrastinating this post a little.  I have had enough requesting for it, so here we go...

At my last doctors appointment which was 3 weeks before my due date I was still dilated at a 2 and 60% effaced.  We (me and my doctor) decided to schedule me to get induced.  He tells me that I could get induced a week before my due date.  Unfortunately he was going to be out of town so the soonest it would be is only 4 day before my actual due date.  I went out to get my appointment scheduled with the nurse, and we decided that August 27th would be the date.  The nurse called the hospital to get me scheduled.  They said "we are all full the 27th and the 28th, but they would put me on the waiting list for both days".  So Sunday the 26th, I called the hospital to see if I was going to get to come in and have my baby.  They said, "yes, come in at 6:45 am".
Sunday night we took Sammy up to my parents house for her to stay with them so she didn't have to wake up so early.  Monday morning we woke up and headed out to the hospital.  I got checked in and they had me hooked up and started the process by about 7:30 am.  By 3:10 pm, I was finally at a 10 and ready to start pushing.  I pushed for about 15 to 20 mins and Kimball made his debut at 3:30 pm.  He was 8lbs. 4oz. and 21 inches long.   He is the sweetest little guy and couldn't have asked for a better baby.  He loves to cuddle, which I love.
It has been a bit of a struggle with Sammy, but I think things are starting to get a little better.  She doesn't seem to want to hurt him as much anymore.  She kind of has a love hate relationship with him just because her world has been completely rocked.  I'm still trying to figure out how to juggle my time between the two of them so that she doesn't have as many of these mean spells.

Hogle Zoo

Sammy and I went out to the Hogle Zoo today.  It was so much fun, to get out just the two of us. 

Look close and you will see a Polar Bear in the water.

This is the Place Heritage Park

Utah as so many fun things to do durning that summer that are FREE.  This is one of those things that Sammy and I took advantage of.  

At This is the Place Heritage Park they have an awesome area with animals that you can get up close and personal and pet all of the animals. 

If you look close there is a deer that is behind Sammy.

She was a little hesitant about petting the goat but then warmed right up, and got right in there. 

It was so hot she was trying to find any shade to cool her off, while I waited in line for our FREE ice cream. :)

Something that won't ever happen again....

Even though I don't really like taking pictures of myself while I'm pregnant, I wanted to make sure I got this picture.  

This will be the last time that all three of us will be pregnant all at the same time.

There is a chance that Laura and I will be pregnant at the same time again but not all three of us.  

We all went out to lunch to celebrate and get out all together one last time before Anna is stuck inside for a while.

Easter

 Grandma Paxton has a huge easter party every year that is so fun for all of the kids.  They look for eggs and play easter themed games.  There is a lot of candy and a lot of prizes.  Always a good time.

I loved her cute little dress this year.  Awesome deal at T.J.Max that didn't break the bank.

Mother's Day

I am a little behind but I wanted to add a few things.  

Sammy made me this dish towel in Nursery that says "Happy Mother's Day" and then she colored on it for me.

We started by finding out with this that we are going to be adding another person to our family.

Now Sammy wants to show you exactly what who we 

will be welcoming in our family in the end of August. 

She is so excited she can hardly stand it.  Every day she asks me if the baby is going to come out.  It is so cute and I can't wait for her to meet her little brother.
